Wil Magaha is a public affairs professional with a background in intensive research, public policy, and strategy development.
Wil began his career at the South Carolina Senate where he worked on legislative research projects for the Senate Corrections Committee. From the Senate, Wil moved to the office of former South Carolina Lieutenant Governor Kevin Bryant where his work primarily focused on constituent services. After leaving the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, Wil interned at NP Strategy where he supported a variety of projects for clients in mining, government, higher education, and agribusiness.
Wil graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina (USC) in 2018 before attending law school at Georgetown University. While at USC, Wil was a member of the inaugural European Student Conference at Yale University where he co-authored a policy paper on the EU response to antidemocratic behavior among member states. Wil subsequently participated in the early meetings and conferences of a global student-led incubator dedicated to proposing policy solutions to challenges facing the European Union. While at Georgetown, Wil worked for the Department of Homeland Security and the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
When Wil is not in the office you can find him reading European history, playing tennis, and hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
