Meredith Dugas is an award-winning marketing strategist whose background in communications spans nearly 20 years. With a focus on content, she brings clarity and consistency to integrated programs, helping clients establish, strengthen, and reinforce their positions in the market.
Throughout her career, Meredith has created award-winning content programs for a number of leading global corporations and helped some of the nation’s top organizations overcome key communications challenges.
Prior to joining NP Strategy, Meredith served as the head of Content Strategy for Fuse 5, a marketing and communications agency with clients spanning the complete spectrum of industries. In her 12 years in that position, she spearheaded message and concept development, creative outreach, and strategy development across all communications platforms.
She built an impressive track record of experience that now includes value propositions, product launches, annual and sustainability reports, internal and external communications programs, executive communications, crisis communications, event management, event app development, traditional marketing, sales training, and lead generation strategies.
Before working as a consultant, Meredith served as the head of Internal Communications for the Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center Campus – the flagship hospital of the largest system in Texas with 5,500 employees and more than 1,300 affiliated physicians. While there, she managed the operations of 17 employees and worked with senior leadership to set the department’s strategic direction.
Meredith’s work has earned recognition by the International Association of Business Communicator’s Silver Quill Awards on three occasions. She earned a degree in public relations and an MBA from the University of Houston.
