Imani Frasier has always had a passion for literature and creative arts. In elementary school, she began competing in district-wide spelling bees and writing competitions. She enjoys all things related to the humanities.
A Charleston, South Carolina native, Imani graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in English Language and Literature. She always enjoyed writing and recognized that a career in communications would allow her to do so for a living. Imani returned to U of SC to earn her Master’s in Mass Communications with a concentration in Strategic Communication Management.
Imani’s journey as a communications professional began with an internship at the United States House of Representatives. During that time, her passion for public and media relations grew immensely. Eager to learn all there is to know about the communications field, Imani began working as an intern with NP Strategy during the final semester of her graduate program. As she worked with clients and colleagues, she was excited to explore the industry, assisting with a wide range of projects.
In her free time, Imani enjoys spending time with her husband, Bradley, and their dog, Shelly. She also recently discovered her love for cooking and hosting gatherings with family and friends.
Her favorite quote is, “Your deeds are your monuments”. She advocates for community service as it can make a monumental difference in people’s lives.
